About the Speaker
Dr. Mark Bronson of Fort Worth and Aledo is an alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin (Pre-med, BBA degree in Finance) and Texas Chiropractic College (DC degree). He's in his 42nd year of practice in the family-owned Bronson Clinic which recently surpassed its 100th year of continuous service. Mark's wife Martha serves as the clinic's office manager and their son Dr. Ross Bronson as the family's fourth-generation DC. His professional specialty is chiropractic orthopedics, in which he is board-certified by the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He serves as a Designated Doctor and Subject Matter Expert in the Texas workers' comp system and as a Medical Examiner for issuing DOT medical certificates to qualified interstate drivers.
Governor Greg Abbott appointed Dr. Bronson to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners in 2016 as a Board Member and the Presiding Officer. He was recommissioned in 2021 for a second 6-year term scheduled to end in 2027. In his official capacity, Dr. Bronson led the agency through the Texas Sunset process, a Texas Supreme Court case, and a District Court case in which he testified as the Board's witness in a weeklong trial. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Bronson served within the Texas Chiropractic Association as the Coordinator of the Department of Scientific Affairs. In addition, he has served the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners for the past 30 years as Chief Examiner for administration of the practical examination leading to licensure in all 50 states.
Mark is a family man with his wife of 38 years and two grown sons. Together and with friends, they enjoy the outdoors and raising cattle on their ranch near Patillo, Texas.
